The M4 Pro Xtra is a multi-purpose, lightweight helmet designed for drivers who prefer the full range of vision of an extra large eyeport. The M4 Pro Xtra is a fully ventilated helmet featuring aggressive chin bar vents with a shell that is 5% larger than a standard extra large helmet.
In addition, the M4 Pro and the M4 Pro Xtra feature our new SRV friction shield system*. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the shield opening during an impact.
* Sizes 7⅛ through 7⅜, built after September 18, 2006, are equipped with the SRV friction shield system. Sizes 7½ through 7¾, built after October 3, 2006, are equipped with the SRV friction shield system.
Bell Racing Helmets are pre-drilled specifically for use with HANS Clips and the HANS device. Consult the manufacturer of any other head and neck restraint device for proper use and installation as hardware and mounting locations may be different.

Great helmet without a high price. Very comfortable and light enough not to cause neck strain. Shield hardware is high quality and reliable. Helmet has been trouble free for three seasons.
