Mike Skinner waited three days before finally winning the rain-delayed NASCAR Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway. Driving for Randy Moss Motorsports, Skinner won the race originally started on Saturday and finally restarted in the middle of the afternoon Monday. It was Skinner’s first win of the 2009 season.
“We got us one and it’s really, really cool,” Skinner said. “We’ve got a lot of effort to build this whole program … We’re just going to keep digging and hopefully we can win us another one or two of these things.” Skinner moved up three positions to take the points lead and now holds a 25-point edge over Hornaday. Germain Racing’s Todd Bodine is third in the standings. Mike Skinner wears the Bell Infusion Top Forced Air helmet.
