Donny Schatz locked his third consecutive World of Outlaws Championship on Friday night at the VAULT World Finals at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway.  With his runner up finish on Friday, Schatz wanted to end the season with a win during Saturday night's finale.  Schatz achieved his goal with his 18th feature win of the 2008 season. 

"We just had an awesome race car for how the track was," Schatz said after the race. "There wasn't a lot of moving around, but man it was fast. It was one of the faster tracks that we have been on in a while. This thing was on a rail. The motor ran great and we had the car working well. We started up front, which was a major bonus and had to be smart for 30 laps."

Saturday's win was Schatz's 88th with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
