Bell Winners August 1 through 4
The first weekend in August proved to be hot on and off the track. Bell drivers captured commanding wins across the racing community.
Featured Winners:
Robert Ballou cleaned up by winning the 20-lap Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series Friday, August 1. Ballou led every lap at Paducah International Raceway. Friday's win is Ballou's third MSCS win of the 2008 season.
Brad Sweet won the 31'st Annual Speedway Motors Belleville Midget Nationals 40-lap championship feature on Saturday, August 2. Sweet drives the Kasey Kahne Racing Mopar/Team ASE Spike. He led all 40 laps of the race.
- Kody Kreamer got his first Jr. Micro Sprint win on Friday, July 25 at Selinsgrove Speedway and Raceway Park. He followed the first win with a second on Friday, August 1 in the 15-lap Jr. Micro Sprint Car feature.
- Dennis Elliott won the A-modified feature at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, MO on Friday, August 1.
- Bart Hartman got his second Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of 2008 on Saturday, August 2 at Hagerstown Speedway. Hartman took advantage of a restart with 11 laps remaining to win.
- Tim Allison won by a straight away after a restart with only seven laps remaining at Waynesfield Motor Sports Park in Waynesfield, OH on Saturday, August 2.
- Charlie Schultz had a successful weekend in the Midwest Super Modified Association. Schultz lined up in the fifth spot for the feature event at Lorain County Speedway. Charlie took the lead after a caution on lap 7 and led the final 23 laps.
