Earlier this year, Danica Patrick was selected as the favorite female athlete at the 2008 Kids' Choice Awards.  It appears that kids aren't alone in their interest in one of the Indy Car Series' top drivers.  This year, Danica's name is rampant at the Speedway and throughout the world of sports.  Coming off her first win in Japan, talk of her chances in the 500 has increased to a dull roar.

Patrick, who has worn Bell Helmets since the beginning of her career, will start this year's Indy 500 from the fifth position.  During her rookie year in 2005, Danica led 19 laps in the 500 and ended up in fourth place.
