Hello My name is Jessica M. Koehler. The “M” is for Micheal and that’s how I got the nickname Mikie. I just finished second grade. I was born a “Car Chick” because it’s in my blood. My daddy started taking me to races and car shows before I could even walk. I first started driving when I was 3 by watching my daddy on the golf cart and doing what he did. I was able to drive the golf cart by myself shortly after that and that started my need for speed. Cars have always been a way of me and daddy staying connected. Daddy taught me what cars were by their logos when I was 4 and by the time I was 5 I knew what big and small blocks were. I have always gotten to help in the garage and now I do know my way around a toolbox. My favorite tool is the air impact gun. Daddy is always teaching me stuff and we always work on stuff together. I have been able to drive the lawn mower since I was 7. We thought a lot about what type of racing I should do because we are fans of all types of racing. Daddy and I get to see a cars and racing because of his job at Truechoice Motorsports. We decided that I should start by racing Jr Dragsters. Now I am a third generation NHRA member. I am learning a lot working on the racecar with daddy. I am looking forward to being successful in racing. I am very thankful for all the support I have gotten.
