XFM.1 Classic
The XFM-1 Classic helmet is an updated version of the famous Bell open wheel helmet first introduced in 1979. The XFM-1 Classic is produced to the most current safety standard (Snell SA2010) using modern construction techniques and composite materials. The original XFM-1 was the first carbon composite helmet produced by Bell and was the next evolution in full face helmet design as it was developed exclusively for auto racing. In addition to the lightweight shell, the original XFM-1 was the first model to have a fire retardant interior as standard equipment and featured Bell’s positive eyeport seal to prevent dust and dirt from entering the helmet.
The updated XFM-1 Classic features the traditional XFM-1 shape and detent style shield with duel lock down buttons.
The helmet also has removable cheek pads that can be replaced for a more custom fit. The XFM-1 Classic is SA2010/FIA8858 certified and available in white in sizes S to XL. Clear, light smoke and dark smoke replacement shields are also available for the XFM-1 Classic. The XFM-1 Classic is a perfect choice for classic car enthusiasts, historic car drivers and vintage racers who want to replicate the look of famous racing champions and legends from the 1980’s but demand modern comfort, performance and technology.
