Infusion EV
The Infusion EV features a huge eyeport (largest available in the Bell line) and builds on the versatility of the Star Infusion and BR-1 models as it can be used as a standard helmet with front and top ventilation, side air or top air model. The Infusion EV is SA2010/FIA8858 certified and available in sizes 7 1/8 to 7 3/4 in white or rubberized matte black. Sold in the standard helmet configuration, the Infusion EV features a new rubber visor seal to prevent dust and dirt from entering the helmet, pro-style comfort interior and a lightweight composite shell.
By utilizing an innovative kit system, racers who prefer a wide eyeport can now customize the Infusion EV to adapt to different forms of racing. Thanks to the versatility of the Infusion EV, racers can use the helmet as a standard model or add full ventilation to the helmet by installing either the side (left) forced air or top forced air kit (kits sold separately). By using the kit system, racers can easily switch the Infusion EV to the appropriate configuration for their type of racing. The Infusion EV incorporated Bell’s air chamber technology to increase pressure and accelerate airflow (when used with an external forced air system) to maximize airflow for improved ventilation and comfort.
Customers who want to adapt the Infusion EV to a forced air model can choose between Bell’s Quick Lock forced air nozzle or standard nozzle. The Quick Lock forced air nozzle that locks the forced air connector in place yet allows for easy release and works with the smaller forced air hose. The smaller nozzle design helps accelerate airflow into the helmet. The QL top and side air kits include:

The Quick Lock nozzle can be used with traditional 1.5 inch diameter forced air hoses by using the following forced air adaptor that connects the hose with the Bell Quick Lock nozzle:

To configure the Infusion EV as a side forced air helmet, install the Star Infusion Side Forced Air Kit on the left side, replacing the side plate that is standard with the helmet. To configure the Infusion EV as a top forced air helmet, installed the top forced air insert, replacing the standard vent top (non-forced air) insert kit. The kits are attached with small Phillips head screws.
The Infusion EV is certified to the Snell SA2010 and the FIA8858 standard. The FIA8858 certification requires the helmet to be tested for use with Head and Neck Restraint Devices. Bell's M6 terminal hardware is incorporated into the helmet and accepts Head and Neck Restraint anchor system hardware. (We recommend consulting with the Head and Neck Restraint manufacturer to select an anchor system that allows the user to index the hardware in the proper location for use with the device.) The Infusion EV is compatible with FIA8858-2010 and is recognized by the FIA for use outside of North America.
The Infusion EV takes a 288 (3MM) SRV Shield which features the SRV-1 pivot system and thumb tab on the drivers left side to allow for easy shield operation. Each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment. The Infusion EV also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the Star Infusion by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. In addition, replacement face piece kits are available for the Infusion EV in the event the front interior chin piece needs to be replaced. The helmet is available in White and Rubberized Matte Black finish - the rubberized surface is more resistant to finger prints and smudges than traditional flat finishes.
Customers buying the Infusion EV also may be interested in accessory items including an anti-fog double screen shield insert to eliminate fogging in high humidity environments and chin cover seals (small and large) that seal the bottom chin bar area of the helmet.
